Social media star Angry Ginge was declared this year’s king of the jungle after narrowly beating Celebs Go Dating client co-ordinator Tom Read Wilson.
Finishing just behind the pair, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty came third in the iconic ITV reality competition.
Speaking just moments after being awarded his crown by I’m A Celebrity’s 2024 winner Danny Jones, Ginge – whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle – told presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly: ‘I feel amazing. Honestly, [it’s a] dream come true.

‘I did not think I’d go all this way. Never mind win, so thank you to everyone who voted.’
This year’s final saw nearly 13 million people vote, which is said to be the highest amount in ten years.

Speaking before the winner was announced, Tom said: ‘Because he is the titan of the trials, and because he’s done such a lengthy spin, I think that the crown has to rest on Ginge.’
Appearing live via video link on Monday’s Good Morning Britain, he added: ‘I would have had a great pang of guilt if I’d pinched [the crown] from him, to be honest.’
In her exit interview, Shona also opened up about the personal growth she has undergone, saying: ‘My anxiety has been up and down for as long as I can remember, but in here, I’ve learned a lot about myself, and I feel like it’s been a bit of a healing process for me.’
Discussing her friendship with Aitch, who she grew close to in the jungle, she added: ‘I felt like an older sister [to him] and I just wanted to protect him.’
Earlier on in Sunday’s episode, the finalists successfully completed their last Bushtucker trials after facing off against creatures including cockroaches, spiders and rats.
Wilson braved an eating challenge where he was served a pig’s vagina, while Twitch streamer Ginge had mealworms and snakes slither around his face as he attempted to collect stars from a box.

Stood in front of his fellow campmates, the social media star broke down in tears when he found out he had won.
After joining his mum at the end of I’m A Celebrity’s runway bridge, he also enjoyed an emotional embrace with her as photographers captured the moment.
This year’s series has seen milk bottle feuds, fireside romances and some truly disgusting trials after a group of famous faces flew Down Under three weeks ago.
Earlier this week, rapper Aitch became the ninth celebrity to leave the ITV1 reality show in the penultimate episode and narrowly missed out on the final after 22 days in camp.
Viewers declared that ‘daylight robbery’ was committed after he was voted out, with some claiming that they thought he was a ‘guaranteed finalist’.

Saying goodbye to his campmates, Aitch explained he was convinced he was the next to leave. ‘I told you last night. I was packing my bag and it was time to go,’ he told them.
Prior to his departure,Jack Osbourne and Lisa Riley were booted from camp in an unexpected double elimination.
Ahead of being told he’d been voted off, Jack told the Bush Telegraph about his hopes for the final: ‘I wanna do Cyclone, I wanna do the jungle banquet, I wanna say I’ve made it all the way to the end! I just wanna go the distance.’
However, his wish didn’t come to fruition, and he was sent packing.
Among this year’s stacked lineup, we’ve had everyone from YouTubers, rappers and models to footballers, comedians and national treasures.

Among the biggest controversies in camp was none other than ‘Milkgate’, which saw Kelly Brook cause chaos as she used her final moments in the jungle to rat out her fellow sweets-guzzlers Aitch and Angry Ginge.
As the 46-year-old was leaving camp alongside Ant and Dec for a treehouse debrief, she decided to finally come clean about secretly eating half of the sweets from a challenge days prior.
She said: ‘There were more than 10 milk bottles, bye.’
But this was quickly covered up by Ginge who said there were 13 sweets, and Kelly ate the first of the extra three, suggesting that he and Aitch only ate one extra sweet each.
However, in reality the trio split 10 sweets between them and it was Aitch’s idea.
The final of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
